Absolutely magical place. The views from the dorm are unreal — waking up to the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau every morning was worth the trip alone. The staff are so warm and the vibe is exactly what a mountain hostel should be.

Best hostel I've ever stayed at. Marcus pouring beers in the evening, home-made pizza, and a community of hikers and climbers from all over the world. Gimmelwald itself is peaceful and stunning. I'll be back.

A little slice of heaven. Janine and the team have built something really special here. The dorms are clean and comfy, the breakfast is generous, and the location at the edge of the village with endless mountains around you is unforgettable.

Came for one night, stayed for five. Paragliding, hiking, sunrise yoga, and the best pizza in the valley. The whole place feels like home within a day. Cannot recommend Mountain Hostel enough.
